I guess there was a crack, very small, all the things behind the wall, no matter how great, are gone, well maybe still there, and trapped.
and this vapor, it took it along time to come upon the crack.
because what is behind this wall is vast.
but it moved through the sliver
to this side of the wall
rare
humble
proud
sad
cheers, d.
Music is carte blanche. It lets you say anything. The listener gives a bit more room to the artist for self-expressions. More than any other art. Give the middle finger, pledge your love, commit murder. All the dark things that knock about in your skull. The moving saddness, cheer, lust,.... Music, it proves to me that I have a soul.

Times New Viking - Try Harder
A new band that will be playing locally soon. They have a sound that's reminiscent of Polvo and Small Factory. Check them out at Johnny Brenda's on June 6th if you're so inclined.

Archers Of Loaf - Slow Worm
Archers of Loaf are truly one of my favorite bands. I remember buying the Icky Mettle cassette tape and playing it all the time. The sound eventually faded from the ribbon and I had to buy the cd. Innovation made the sound better and thus my life was getting so much better. I still find myself looking for tracks from AOL all the time and can remember the words to every song. Even now, with the break-up of Archers, I love to follow Eric Bachmann in his band Crooked Fingers. Maturity resonates through his voice in the lps from crooked fingers. It's a different sound than Archers, but I really like it. Here's a tribute to one of Archers great songs off of Icky Mettle and also a great Crooked Fingers song.
Enjoy.
Superchunk - Precision Auto
Oh how I love me some Superchunk! Saw these guys far too many times to comment and every show was great. Here's a good song to introduce you to them.
